Quick test for the establishing shot: lit up cable car

I must say my preference still goes for the darker one, as it seems clearer that the car is leaving the city and evokes the sort of cold nostalgia that makes your heart heavier. It's just a thought but I feel like its 'sinister side' might be a good thing since it fits the ambiguous end of Diomira's description: "[...] is that he feels envy toward those who now believe they have once before lived an evening identical to this and who think they were happy, that time."

Being still unsure about what I am going to do for the second exterior painting, I decided to give the interior scene a shot. It didn't turned out exactly like had imagined so I'm tempted to start over. Besides, the Woman in Black analogy inspired me to think about an element on which the design of the city could be based. Fallen leaves seemed like a good choice, as they represent the autumnal aspect of Diomira as well as having interesting visual qualities: their shape, warm colours and diaphanous texture when the sun shines through them. Their organic essence also made me think about how it could impact the architecture and drove my attention towards Art Nouveau. So yeah, loads of new ideas...

I really love the interior thumbnail nice and very detailed. The cable car if the sides are lit shouldn't be the front part be lit as well ...?
