Invisible Cities: Establishing Shot & Low Angle Shot thumbnails

Following Phil's advice, I attempted to make the vehicle look more sophisticated. But, as I didn't want to overcharge it, it's only a very minimalistic addition.

To be honest, I wasn't too keen on making the cablecar colour brighter or more saturated because I think a faded, mysterious kind of colour looks better with the background. However, I tried to get rid of the 'gunmetal grey' by simply editing the overall tone of the composition. Hope it has slightly improved!

  2. Hey Julien - is your cable car going to be lit from within? I guess logically it would be, given the time of day? I think it would lend some of that warmth and appeal to the cable-car, as it still feels a tiny bit on the 'sinister side' to me (not much, but a bit - the lone, empty, deserted cable car...). If it was radiating warm, light from within, tones reflecting off the retro interior...?

For me, 2 and 5 also...

  3. Your thumbnails are the best! Could really see people living in the city, walking around and stuff. :^)
