I like the sketch under the coloured one. He looks very young, almost child like. I can see him curled up in a loose fetal position like a dozing child.
For me, it's the smaller study - top row - fourth from right - there's something 'unspecial' about him - like a working class boy, not too refined. There are hints of cruelty and an Oscar Wildean sophistication about some of the others which make me like him a little bit less.

Aye, I see what you mean... and that 'unspecial' quality is very much what I am after as well :) Thanks you for the refs, it's helped me figure out how to re-tackle those designs!
