Very, very rough start of the previz + temporary low-quality recording of the script by part-time voice-over artist Chelsea.
This was an attempt at lowering down the frame rate to get a stop-motion effect, but it only seems to give a laggy-looking result.
A scene that didn't make it in its entirety (I reckon the walking legs bit should be longer though).
Nice transition from the wolf to the eggs. :)
ReplyDeleteYes - I think you should drop the 'stop motion' effect - because it looks like a problem with bandwidth! I think the whole low poly element will transmit the more 'acoustic/unplugged/lo-fi' feel you're after :) Fascinating to see your film taking shape! Onwards!
ReplyDeleteNot a 100% positive if this Is true for maya, but i think to get a good slow motion shot you need more frames (well that's the case with a digital camera). So if you were to record in 50 frames and then drop it to 25 in post, it should create a reasonable slowmo effect. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks but I meant *stop* motion animation not slow-motion :)
DeleteMy bad xD, read it as slow :P
